Thank you to those who were able to attend
The Property Owners Association held its annual meeting on Sunday, November 11th, from 10 - 11 am. The developer and many of the home and lot owners were in attendance via Zoom.

Major Topics Discussed
Effect of Hurrican Helene on Chestnut Flats and Western North Carolina
Updates to the Community
Social Media Update
Hunting
There is no hunting permitted on the mountain
We will engage with a local hunter for a coordinated hunt on the mountain to make our community less hospitable to black bears. Any hunts will be coordinated with the community, and the hunters and their trucks will be well-marked.

A Note from the Developer
Thank you to everyone who attended the Property Owner meeting and participated so enthusiastically in the conversation. The discussion about what makes Chestnut Flats special when compared to other mountain communities and how those unique attributes can be used in marketing efforts will be pivotal to our success. We will be following up shortly regarding hunting activities on the mountain, I-40 updates, and anything else that affects our community. As always, please feel free to contact us with any questions or issues.
Sincerely,
Tim Rizer & Mike Dyer
